When my individual stopped by recently he said that his experience at Coastal was better than he ever could imagine. He loved the help, guidance and encouragement he received and is now working his path to a better way of living

X O10 September 2026I am completely impressed. Coastal Detox and residential is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained, clean, and on the ball. The staff is 24/7, from nurses to Techs, doctors, therapists and counselors. Three chefs that are over the top with beautifully prepared meals, even made to order if I did not like what was on the menu. Judy was available every single day, and evenings as well. I saw an influx of anywhere from 29 to 45 patients handled professionally and seamlessly. Shout out to Karen for helping me through my first week. Her kind words and support motivated me to stay and get the help I needed. All the Techs are kind, funny, patient and I felt safe the entirety of my 40 day stay. Doctor Amanda is brilliant. The only doctor I ever trusted. Thank you so much Amanda for helping me with my anxiety. Shout out to Claire and Catherine, my therapists. I saw them every single day. Intelligent, compassionate, beautiful women genuinely interested in listening and getting my needs met. 10 stars to the nursing staff! I have never witnessed a team of better educated, concientios and patient women and men, doing a 100% job, all day, all night, every single day. Wow. I could go on, because everyone and everything at Coastal Detox was above par and they saved my life. I cried when I left, and I hope to see you guys in my new, healthy, sober community soon! Corbin Williams15 July 2026This place has changed my life for the better even tho I went through a bad midlife crisis, toxic relationship, and some addiction predicaments that almost caused me to die… Coming to coastal is so accommodating it makes you feel so comfortable transitioning into a lifestyle you can manage… It has accommodating features that fit your personality or emotions and will always have people checking on you to make sure your okay and well attended.. There always upgrading and let you watch movies and have two tvs to a room and can have headphones or listen to a movie with your roommate. That’s a rare commodity… the nurses and doctors make sure your provided the proper medications to help with any anxiety or mental health disorder as well as pain and other prescribed medication that’s fit for your situation… they make sure nothing comes in and nothing goes out that’s not allowed. Cameras in all areas… It makes your ego be trained to living correctly Not to mention your groups aren’t mandatory unless you off detox. It’s so beneficial. I love this place Care ful not to eat so much because the food is delicious and they keep everything stocked . I’m grateful for the place because the therapist are also A-1! Be honest and open and it will only benefit you in the long run God speed and thank you so much Coastel detox owners and staff . Let’s pray I keep on a successful path! -CW

Ethan Russell14 July 2026Coastal is THE BEST, most outstanding Detox residential facility you could attend or send a loved one to, they are family owned and operated, treat you with respect and dignity and provide you with a Luxury resort like place to get better. From the top of the organization, to the Chefs, Nurses, Techs, and Therapist everyone is extremely compassionate and genuinely care about your success in recovery. Ross and Judy (the owners) are on site with you 5 days a week usually 10 plus hours a day and they take the time to actually get to know each and every client, and they will talk to you about whatever you need help with, in my case they were genuinely interested in my aftercare plan and me having a solid plan to return home, most other Detox owners barely even step foot in their facilities and definitely don't work closely with the clients on their recovery. The Techs specifically Alex, and Jody, karen and Kaitlyn are there to make sure all of your needs are being met on a daily basis, the therapist Lisa and Amanda provided me with great therapy even in the short time I was there, unlike other treatment centers where the therapist don't really want to start any real work with you because you only stay a few weeks. They also have a Gym, you get your own TV in your room and the food is amazing.this place is different than 99% of the detox residential programs in Florida and they definitely helped me get my life back on track when I was at my lowest point. 10 out of 10 experience and I would definitely recommend you go here if you're struggling with addiction and get the opportunity.

This place generally cares about all their clients and will go above and beyond to help you an any way possible.. I would highly recommend costal to anyone .. Bella Donna18 June 2026Coastal Detox is the best place for anyone struggling with addiction. I was there for 2 weeks. And in those 2 weeks I overcame an addiction. They have very, very intense groups. Attending all the groups was not only informative. But it was fun. Im forever GRATEFUL 🙏 The food is also great. The most amazing thing though, is staff!!! If you or a loved one needs help, dont wait. Go to Coastal it will HELP! Thanks Coastal! Ps. I'm a alcoholic and been so for 45 years or more the family thats owns and runs coastal detox are so caring for addicts, alcoholics,and mental health they make sure and only hire people who have the same love,devotion towards the clients. I'm writing this because .(I'M FINALLY SOBER FOR OVER A YEAR) the first time in 50 plus years without being in JAIL,PRISON OR TREATMENT CENTER and between those 3 place in them many times BECAUSE OF MY ADDICTION but being honest about it. ALL of these places tried too help me (COASTAL DETOX) went above and beyond for ME coastal detox (MRS JUDY) I new treatment centers, detox, hospital, jails, BUT DIDNT know recovery I THANK GOD EVERY DAY THAT COASTAL DETOX LET ME GO BACK THERE ONE MORE TIME because everyone else were done with me. I'M SAYING ALL THIS TOO SAY YES ITS NICE TOO BE IN 5 STAR TREATMENT CENTER, DETOX IT MAKES IT EASIER THE STAFF SO HELPFUL AND KIND. From Judy, Ross, and the clinical team to the culinary staff and the techs, I never felt like anyone was "just doing their job". Aaron Collins24 March 2026Costal detox has been good to me. The best part of costal is the staff I would say. It's extremely COMFORTABLE! They have unlimited ice cream and killer food thats made by REAL cheffs. The medical operations is very fair. Detox for me is physically uncomfortable and Amanda the DR. there made it comfortable while I detoxed. Overall I give costal 5 stars, they even have a koy pond. A flippin koy pond!!! What more do you want people!!!

Beverly Brockman16 March 2026I went to coastal 3 times , with no judgement of my relapses , with open arms from all the staff and was able to successfully finish the program. Judy is amazing and she truly cares about the well being of each individual. I wouldn’t recommend anyone in active addiction to go anywhere but here ! This team helped me accomplish my goal of getting clean and the tools to stay clean.

Joseph Active21 February 2026Coastal detox is legendary,my number one favorite place ever, take advantage you will miss it, two weeks goes by quick, i asked for two extensions & happily did 25 days, had a rehab romance, I was so high my first night I fell sleep outside with vanilla pudding everywhere,Im so grateful they didn’t kick me out, the ownership, ALL staff, techs, nurses therapist, cleaners.are ALL top notch& that’s facts..

Want to thank the amazing therapists Rosa, Dominique and Mandy who took great care of me who had a lot of patience and truly cared for my wellbeing and my needs at all times. Thomas was very attentive and caring, he went out of his way to give me multiple books for me to read, I will miss all of these beautiful people. Jim and Tiffany were amazing therapists during group therapy who gave me plenty of knowledge information for my recovery as well. All the techs are also amazing people who truly enjoy their job and care about our wellbeing, huge thanks to Caleb, Dexter, Laura and Alex who made my stay feel like home. I will miss this place so much, thank you for saving and changing my life, forever grateful 🤍

Laura Adamczyk8 January 2026Coastal Detox is an amazing facility. The staff is very caring, most are in recovery. The premises is clean and peaceful and there after care programs are super beneficial. However I was mortified when I called to get back into detox and was told I could bring my service dog for a mere $800/night. Their explanation was that I would need to be in a private room due to people being allergic. My service dog is a medical device, not a luxury or a pet. Are people with wheelchairs expected to pay for a private room? This is not only ridiculous, but illegal and flat out discrimination. It really saddens me that this is their policy because my first experience with Coastal was amazing and life changing. *2026 Update* When I had initially written this review, I was very much in the midst of active addiction. I was resentful, selfish, and trying to impose my will into everything and every situation. It wasn't until I truly surrendered and admitted to myself that I knew nothing and God was everything, that I could start my healing process. While Coastal wasn't part of God's plan for me this time, it's still a huge part of my recovery today. I bring in a meeting every Tuesday night with my homegroup and best friend, whom I met at Coastal Detox. I will forever be grateful to this facility, Ross and Judy, my therapist Janice, and all the staff who supported me throughout my journey in 2024. It was the start of my recovery, and while I stumbled, I made it back - and I intend to stay. One day at a time.

Devin9 December 2025I was at a place in my life that I didn’t know I’d hit after having time in recovery but ultimately I needed help once again! Coastal Detox was recommended and I was picked up by them via Uber and treated like family from the start thru the end of care . The staff were unbelievably empathetic caring and there for all needs 24/7 for all not just me but watching how they tended to everyone! The food and cleanliness too it sounds silly to mention that too But listen I’ve been to a lot of places unfortunately but that was so top notch to like NONE other ! bellisimo ! Judy and Ross are so hands on :) through the entire process of care ! It’s a 10/10 for me if you need a detox for yourself or a loved one go here , then please seek aftercare ! Ps I’d mention specific staff shoutouts but I’d have to list each staff member :-)

Patrick Parsons18 October 2025I recently completed a detox stay for fentanyl and benzodiazepine dependence at Coastal, followed by their PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program). Here’s my experience, focusing on the people, the care, and the program structure. First impressions: warmth, not judgment From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with genuine warmth and care. The environment felt welcoming and supportive rather than clinical or punitive. The bedside manner of the medical team helped ease withdrawal symptoms early on, which made a difficult process a bit more bearable. Medical care and detox protocol A physician evaluated me the next day and prescribed medications to manage withdrawal symptoms. This thoughtful medical approach helped stabilize me as I began to detox. The detox program runs for 14 days, with a clear emphasis on comfort, safety, and symptom management. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) was used as appropriate to ease withdrawal, which I appreciated for reducing the severity of symptoms. Day-to-day care and amenities Food and nourishment: The facility offers 24/7 access to food. They have a dedicated chef who prepares three meals a day, and there are options beyond meals (ice cream, cake, soups, and sandwiches) if you’re hungry at other times. Housing: Rooms are comfortable and private-within-shared accommodations. I shared a room with one other person, each of us having our own TV and a private bathroom—convenient and a bit of personal space during an intense time. Staffing: The staff were consistently attentive, checking in on how I was feeling physically and emotionally. They emphasized both comfort and morale, which mattered a lot during detox. Behavioral health and therapeutic resources Daily groups: There are multiple groups offered throughout the day covering addiction education, coping strategies, and skills for staying sober. Participation is encouraged but not forced, respecting individual readiness. Individual therapy: Each participant gets their own therapist, with daily sessions. This made it possible to process cravings, triggers, and emotions in a structured way. Family involvement: There’s an option to stay in contact with direct family members, which can be a crucial part of recovery for many people. Ownership and program philosophy The owners and leadership appear highly involved and personally invested in each patient’s well-being. This contrasts with some larger or more corporate setups where the focus may feel more driven by numbers and insurance. The overarching philosophy seems to be recovery-first and people-centered, with a tangible commitment to getting patients to a solid exit plan and reducing the risk of relapse. Transition to aftercare: PHP and ongoing support After detox, I transitioned to the PHP program, which continued the supportive environment and structured treatment. The sense of community remained strong, and staff continued to emphasize accountability, skill-building, and connection with peers. The program helped me establish routines and an exit plan, which felt essential for sustaining healing after leaving. Personal testament Coastal and staff literally saved my life, and I’ll forever be grateful. Their dedication, care, and hands-on approach made a life-changing difference for me. I can’t overstate how much this place and its people mean to my recovery.

Kelsey Keefe17 October 2025This program was an important stepping stone in one of the hardest times of my life. I battled addiction and mental health, did my research and found that this was the place for me. My life has ultimately turned around for the better. Judy, Ross, and their whole family genuinely cares. They are able to see things in you that you may not be ready to see in yourself. This place has changed my life, I am forever grateful to them and the best part about it is it’s family owned, and the whole family GENUINELY cares. It is nothing like the horror stories I’ve read about some treatment centers. I came in a mess, and have left a better, stronger, healthier woman because of them. If you’re struggling, I highly suggest to pick this treatment center over any others in the area.

Cheryl Leace29 August 2025My addiction to alcohol was so strong, it changed the person that I was.. I became Miserable, sick and extremely tired.. I kept going to get help wherever I can.. NY, Mass, Conn, even West Palm beach in 2012. I suffered for 20 years trying to stay sober. So I made yet another attempt in 2021 by calling a random Treatment center from Google. I had no idea my world would get better , one day at a time. From Talking to Kris every day, until I could get there to my in-take with the patient and kind admission staff and don’t get me started on Judy church.. She runs this center yet, she went to my storage room in the pouring rain and slid under the gate ( you couldn’t stand in that room) and pulled my bags of clothes so they wouldn’t get moldy and I needed things to wear. Oh , wait, she did that TWICE! So now there’s those absolute wonderful Therapists who I still communicate with to this day. Shout out to SUSAN, JANICE, AMY and ALL the staff that helped me along the way. I relapsed 3 times in 2 years and Costal is always there waiting for you with open arms.. Coastal Detox is one incredible experience when trying to get sober. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND COASTAL DETOX… I am now Over 2 years sober and I went to say hello to everyone both years on my anniversary . I no longer live in Florida, but I will be going back every year on my anniversary, May 11th .. I owe them my life! Thank You Coastal Family! Your the best !

Alex “Xander” Hastings15 July 2025I went into Coastal Detox on January 6th 2024 and was lost and didn’t know what I needed, I just knew I needed help and didn’t want to continue living the way I was. This was my 2nd time trying rehab / detox. I’m very grateful to be able to have gone into their outpatient program after doing inpatient detox and it was one of the best things I ever did. I was blessed to have Katelynn as my therapist during my inpatient detox, she was very patient, kind, caring and actually made me feel heard for the first time in a very long time I was able to rebuild my ability to start to trust thanks to Katelynn’s professional approach. I wasn’t committed at the start but with encouragement from The Tucker and Church family (the owners) and from the professionals like Katelynn, Susan, Janice and Amy and other members of staff I felt it would be in my best interest to continue working together via their outpatient program after my 17 days in detox. I learned how to deal with life on life’s term and work on many characteristic defects I didn’t know I had on a deeper level. I’m grateful for Coastal Detox because they genuinely cared about me and it was a blessing to be able to detox properly and safely under the supervision of nurses. The food was excellent and so were all the group sessions. They even had ping pong! I’m humbled by my experiences here and beyond thankful for Judy and Ross and their team and families for all they do. Now I’m able to have a foundation to build off of, attend my meetings and be a good father figure to my Son, and even hold a really good job. I haven’t missed a day off work in the last 18 months and life continues to get better. I got a sponsor, work the steps and try to share my experience strength and hope to those I cross paths with. I’ve reconnected my relationship with my higher power and I’m genuinely grateful for everything Coastal Detox has done for me and my life. I strongly recommend this place (even if you don’t want to go).

Michelle Cook3 July 2025There aren't enough good things to say about this facility, especially their staff!!! It is a family owned and operated treatment center, so that should tell you all you need to know, but I'll elaborate!!! Everything is clean, and we'll kept! The staff is extremely kind, helpful and respectful. At no point did anyone act as though they were better than me. In fact quite a few people are in recovery themselves. The amenities provided help the transition from addiction into sobriety to be much more comfortable. And on extremely emotional or high stress days, the massage worked wonders to alleviate stress. Everything they provide is well thought out. From the inside out. The amount of freedom your given allows you to continue to feel like an aduly who had made their own choice to brighter future. Not a child who told on themselves and is now being punished for doing so... If you have been to the wrong detox in the past then you know what I mean. Most importantly, there are 6 groups available to you daily and an AA or an NA meeting at night. One on one therapy daily. Unless you just don't participate AT ALL, it is impossible to walk out of there the same person you were when you walked in. I stayed for 3 weeks by choice, I wanted to get everything I could out of being there!!! The groups and therapists were so informative!! The discussions were so helpful and even though repetitive at times, I came to realize that it wasn't on accident. Certain things are intended to be beaten into your brain. Once your back in the real world, you need to have certain tools readily available to pull our in a pinch to avoid relapse. I am feeling confident I won't ever need rehab/detox again but I do look forward to going back and sharing my success story with others there and I wanted to leave a review here in hopes that anyone debating getting help will read this and it will be enough to convince you to make the call. Enough to convince you to go get the help you need! It's a great place to do so!!!! ***UPDATE: Since posting my last review, I’m proud to share that I am still sober and thriving. I now work at a co-occurring treatment facility, where I was recently promoted to Senior Behavioral Health Technician, I have a team of BHT's of my own. I’m also certified as a BHT through the Florida Certification Board and less than a year away from earning my bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a concentration in Substance Abuse. Coastal Detox truly changed my life, and I will forever be grateful to the staff who invested their time, energy, and belief in me—especially during the times I couldn’t believe in myself. Today, I have the incredible opportunity to give back and support others on their own recovery journeys

Kev Sheehan27 June 2025This is the only detox I've ever been to where you actually see the owners. Coastal gave me a chance before I even gave myself one. Ross and Judy are awesome very compassionate. Cassie, Teddy, Christina and Karen are great Behavioral Health Technicians and they were the ones who truly cared. Dr Amanda is fantastic and was receptive anytime I explained what was going on with me. Chris always made great food and you can tell he puts effort into his cooking. Jodi at the front desk helped me get EBT. Jill and Kat were great therapists. From the moment I arrived to the day I left, I was made to feel like my well-being was the top priority. The property is beautiful, and the freedom to walk around as needed helped ease my “Fight or Flight” struggles during the first steps of detoxification. They have a housekeeping staff who work quietly in the background, maintaining a clean and peaceful environment. Coastal has a great crew of well-trained techs—Karen, Cassie, Rochelle, Maddie, and EJ—and highly qualified nurses like Rose and Jean, who provided nearly every accommodation I could ask for while APRN Amanda listened with genuine concern to each of my symptoms and made appropriate adjustments to my care plan as needed. Then there were the individual therapists I met with daily. Katelynn’s door was always open, as were her ears to my every struggle. Her wisdom and understanding of CBT and recovery gave me great tools to move forward with and both Kat and Mandy ensured I had everything I needed for my recovery. Physical comfort came through the skilled hands of their massage therapist, Sheryl, while necessary adjustments were provided weekly by an excellent chiropractor. And the great kitchen staff, fully stocked shelves and refrigerators along with the highly skilled Chefs made a full, satisfied belly the norm. An added blessing was the one-on-one faith conversations and the wealth of available literature—both for spiritual support and personal growth. Finally, the owner, Judy, has the most compassionate and understanding heart imaginable. Judy makes things happen! Her dedication to creating the best possible aftercare plan for each client is truly remarkable. I could never thank her enough for all she has done for me and my family. I give thanks and praise to every one of your great team!!

Robert Wayman8 June 2025I’m embarrassed to say but I’ve been to several detox facilities over the years. Coastal is far above all other places. Every single staff member is excellent! They are caring, friendly, and professional. The rooms are very nice. They have some rooms that are single and some that have two beds. I was in a room that had two beds. Each person has a big screen TV with a headset so not to disturb your roommate. The food is excellent with more options that are 24/7. To name some: salads, sandwiches, ice cream machine, cereal, chips and many many more.

Anonymous4 June 2025Well where do I start! 1st this complete organization is a class A act from Top to Bottom. This includes from the time you walk in to the front desk you just feel welcome. Moving on to intake with their Techs which I must are the best in this industry. The Therapist truly care about the issues that you are dealing with but also have tremendous amount knowledge about recovery as a whole. Oh now to the kitchen and let me say this! The Chefs are amazing each and everyday, special diet no problem, they make it happen day in and day a out. Let's not forget all the amazing snacks desert's ice-cream the list goes on for snacks 24/7. Nursing staff who I call the dream team are so amazing addressing your needs 24/7 with so much love passion and knowledge Now to the ones the make all this magic happens are true professional in this industry on all aspects from top to bottom. And truly care about your recovery with great knowledge and love. Last but not LEAST the house keepers do such an amazing job at keeping this place spotless 7 days a week in all areas. Seth Ellis24 May 2025Can’t say enough good things about this place, from the nurses to the techs to the food. They do everything they can to make you comfortable during detox and provide you everything you need. They even have an in house massage therapist and chiropractor you can see every week. Even when my roommate decided to flush a vape down the toilet, they did everything they could to fix it as fast as they possible could, taking the entire thing apart lol. Kevin O'Brien13 May 2025There was a very misleading review left by someone I had a past relationship with. It's a one star review and I'm sure it's not hard to find if you look hard enough. I would like to leave a more honest review considering I was the one who chose to use this business and it's services. I had an amazing "life saving" experience here. I even made the choice to extend and also do more long term treatment and attend their PHP level of care. The staff is amazing especially Judy, Ross, and Kaitlyn. This is a family ownered and operated business and when you are here you are treated like family. Please if you struggle with any type of alcohol/substance abuse get help. You are worth it and the staff at Coastal will allow you to see that. 🩵

Scott Goldblatt11 May 2025Detox to cleanse start over Extremely difficult to do when 34 other patients from different education levels and history are placed in a small environment. New admits causing friction vaping indoors. For me it is even harder due to vaping and smoking. There was difficulty finding a place to just breathe There is a koi pond outside for refuge but it is so close to the smoking area, again hard for me to breathe. For some reason patients thought vaping indoors was ok, again hard for me to breathe. I was at Coastal 2 weeks maybe I needed to stay longer but I felt ok when I left and ready to go home Why? Due to the Owners and great staff they helped and addressed the/my issues. I guess I was another tough patient but the techs, doctors and owners went above and beyond. I hope I never have to repeat this treatment as it is as stated difficult. To many names of staff to shout out to but all in all Thank you Coastal, clean facility excellent food and based on others I know who have gone through detox elsewhere a great Family run facility

I looked to Coastal in a dark time of my life and could not be more thankful that I found these folks. There are many things that make them unique and special. They are family owned AND operated. The owners are very passionate about their work and extremely caring to each and every individual who passes through their doors. The owners, techs, nurses, therapists, chefs ALL know your name from day one!! That may seem like a small thing but it doesn’t go unnoticed. All in all, EVERYONE at Coastal put your priorities at the top and they work hard to make it a life changing experience. Lastly, shout out to Chef Chris for the great eats!!

Taylor Gift25 March 2025If you or your loved ones need a comfortable place to go and detox to get your life back together I would HIGHLY recommend Coastal Detox. The whole place Ross, Judy, the techs/Staff, nursing, Amanda the doctor, the therapists and everyone else actually cares about you. As well as making you feel safe and as comfortable as you can. Amanda accommodates you to your needs and is the best. I absolutely am very thankful for Coastal Detox this place has saved my life. I was there for about a month this time and towards the end actually didn’t want to leave. You gain friendships with everyone here. The place is absolutely gorgeous. The groups and meetings are amazing. They make sure you’re well taken care of. The food is awesome too. Out of any rehab I would recommend going here and no where else. There’s a lot of places that the staff and everyone there doesn’t care but coastal as I said is the exact opposite. If it weren’t for Coastal Detox I’m not sure what I would have done. I refused to go anywhere else but there. Thank you so much again Ross and Judy as well as everyone else. I love everyone of you guys ❤️ Coastal Detox I would give rating that’s off the charts.

I also received the best therapist. I want to say thank you to Amanda and thank you to Sam for helping me on my beginning stages to recovery. James Carangelo21 March 2025Thank you everyone, you literally saved my life, more than once. From the very first day, arriving there i wasn't ready I was about to leave. Thank GOD Karen and Hailey came outside and calmed me down enough for Maddy to get me admitted super quick. Gene & Nurse Rebecca saved my life 2x first was about to take 12 units of insulin Gene made me recheck my sugar, only needed 2 units. Blood pressure one night took while I was sleeping was 176/128 Rebecca ran in the room to give me clonadine. Groups were life changing. Gonna miss Terry's quotes of the day, Greg's no bullshit approach, Rosa's trivia, Katelyn's big science words, ABDULA ABLOMGATA!!!! Janice's games, LOL, Great conversations with Amanda, Jill, Cat, everyone. The food, OMG, Chef Chris & Joey 5 stars!!! Nurse Amanda & Rebecca figured out why I kept getting nauseous. Doc Amanda, o ly Doc who ever really listened to me and actually figured out a good regiment. Ross, Judy, when I tell you they, everyone at this place REALLY REALLY cares about you, that's 1000% truth. Nurse Angie and Rose, top notch!!! Everyone here, top notch, all the techs, Chelsea, Paul, Maddy, Karen, too many too name, thank you all for taking such good care of me, and thank you for all the cigs. I know I'm a pain in the neck. If you're here as a patient, GO TO GROUP!!!!! Please let go, let Coastal do what they do, and let God do what he does. You WILL recover!!!! There is freedom in surrounding!!!!+19

The property is at a higher standard than any other Medical Detox/Residential Treatment Center I’ve seen. There’s also a wide variety of amenities from gym, massage, sauna and more. Lastly, they have excellent chef prepared food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is first class.

Ana serrano6 March 2025i’ve been to many detox/residential treatment centers and Coastal Detox is hands down the best one. Highly recommend. Comfortable double rooms with a tv for each bed, gourmet meals cooked on the spot. a whole snack bar with ICE CREAM machine! massage chairs coy pond need i say more!! also everyone is so nice and they have great psychiatrists nurses therapists and facilitators. and the techs are amazing! i am not 6months clean all thanks to coastal!!

I have been to five others treatment centers trying to escape the carousel of addiction. They saved my life and helped me find myself again. I lost touch with This Person For so long. I am so grateful for them. So if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired and you need help I suggest giving them a try. Mike G24 February 2025Unless the facility has changed, I consider Coastal to be the Gold Standard. It is the best detox I have been to, the facility is impeccable, the fact that they have food available 24/7 is incredibly important, the staff does not harass the clients about smoking in the middle of the night, which may seem small but absolutely is not. The grounds were always clean, the koi pond is on point and the groups were good. I have no comlaints about the facilitators. Judy, who runs the place always displayed compassion to me, and I observed her treating the other clients the same. She was accessable and didn't present herself as aloof. Again, unless it has changed Coastal is the Gold Standard. I sure as hell should have looked into going back about a month ago, as I had a distressing experience at the facility I was most recently at. The review is posted. If you must go to detox/res, check out Coastal first. Peace! Much love

Nicholas Mecca15 February 2025I arrived at Coastal Detox 4 months ago completly broken and on several drugs and enough alcohol that should have killed me. The intake staff and meducal team got me in very quickly, assest me and began my medical detox immediatly. I had been to so many rehab facilities before I wasn't sure what to expect and was at their mercy. I remained in detox and residential for 1 month and began to finally see clearly I had to completly surrender to my illness and their program. I was then placed in their PHP and IOP programs which I stayed for and completed in the coming 3 months. Yesterday, February 14, 2025 I graduated from the program feeling like a new and improved person. The medical, tech, couseling and administrative staff are as professional and caring as I have ever experienced. The facility is outstanding and my care was their highest priority. I want to thank Ross, Judy and their teams for helping me get through a very dark time in my life. I will never forget my Coastal Detox experience and whole heartily reccomend this facility to anyone needing help with addiction and mental illness.

Ryan Wagner4 February 2025Coastal Detox is honestly the best detox/residential that you're going to find anywhere. It's on a whole other level. Unfortunately if you struggle with substance abuse or mental health issues, the majority of places to go for help aren't helpful at all. As a matter of fact, they are quite negligent. Not this place. Their techs are all amazing, their chef(s) are unbelievably talented, their case manager Domenique is a hard worker and will get things done and advocate for you, and their owners are always there helping with everything. I want to give a special shoutout to the therapists there, especially Kat and Katelyn. They helped me a lot with anything that I needed and were consistently updating my wife and family with my progress. You can trust my review as I've been to multiple detoxes/residential places. This is BY FAR the best. Thank you guys for everything you have done for me and many others who needed help!

Nick N2 February 2025The best choice I ever made was coming to Coastal Detox, it changed my life. I was dependent on opioids/benzodiazepines for so many years and I was safely tapered off both of them and am feeling great, being sober after being numb for so long is a beautiful feeling. If you are worried about having a safe detox, come here do not go anywhere else in the area. There are some really awful detox facilities in Florida, some that are completely irresponsible and have brain-dead employees. This place takes almost all health insurances, and is like a resort for addicts. Definitely the nicest detox in Florida. I would like to thank Katelyn and Thomas for believing in me and being my therapists, you guys are by far the best therapists I’ve ever had and I wish I could still see you guys. You guys are a big reason why I was able to get through a very hard detox. All the staff is great and reliable, most have experience with addiction and can relate to what you are going through. If you are thinking about getting sober come here, you don’t have to worry about medication or safety. Dr. Amanda tapers you safely and very efficiently. I never thought I would miss rehab.

I was scared and the family at Coastal Detox made the experience feel safe and nurturing. Jay11 December 2024I would like to thank the Coastal Family for taking of me for my 2 week stay.The Chefs prepare and provide more goodies breakfast lunch and dinner,then you can eat sweets 24 hrs a day!!! The staff is very helpful especially when you first come in and help you get situated in your room and show you around to get familiarized with everything.The In house Dr and all the Nurses have all the compassion in the world, better then my primary ! And the pharmacist caught something my primary never told me about my cholesterol meds always take at night for years been taking in the am. I shared that because they actually care about you . The PHP was a great experience for me and helped me stay on the right path clean n sober and met some great people in the groups . The counselors there are smart and were very helpful to me in my recovery. Sober date November 1 st. 40 - succesful days in recovery thanks To Everyone at Coastal Detox . Thank you Judy , ❤️Karen , Susan ,Helena, Dominique, Angie ,Jim ,Chris And Joe and Jeanine in the kitchen you guys rock and to all the wonderful techs who put up with our crazy Shenanigans .

I can truly say the staff go above and beyond to ensure those entrusted within their care can fully focus on recovery! The staff emphasizes the focus of recovery by working to mitigate as many outside stressors as possible. The team at Coastal work from passion, care, and love for what they do and Judy and Ross lead by example!

Rob8 November 2024Let me just say what a great place to go and get the help you need all of the staff there is awesome there's too many great people to name but I wanna give the most important person who made me stay and stick through it was Karen she is awesome in every aspect but the food is great you will never be hungry from nursing to the Dr they make sure you are comfortable the place is so clean the facility is beautiful I Ben to many places but these people here have it in their heart and actually care about you 10/out of 10 in my opinion thanks for putting up with me !

Great food, very nice rooms, amazing staff, not a single complaint. The therapist Susan is fantastic. Reaching out for help with addiction is very hard but Coastal will take care of you. 10/10 recommend.

Joel Moore6 September 2024Coastal Detox saved my life! Three years ago I arrived in Stuart, FL @ Coastal Detox a broken and confused shell of person who had given up on every aspect life. It was there I was able to learn how to pick up the pieces and start a new life over without the shadow of my addiction. The entire staff was so welcoming and concerned for wellbeing and growth. It was the care and concern for me that pushed me to keep fighting for my sobriety and life that I wished for in all the years of my addiction. The technicians are AMAZING, the chef is incredibly kind and makes beautiful food, the directors Ross and Judy are incredibly kind and caring, the therapists here are genuine and knowledgeable, the medical provider Amanda is well loved and respected by patients and staff~it's a pretty amazing facility~

Charles Dowling25 July 2024M Dowling I have been a patient at Coastal Detox on several occasions. Let me start by saying Coastal Rehab is the very best in the USA. Coastal is owned by a family who treats patients like family. During my recent stay at Coastal, I became sick with a virus. Coastal did not consider releasing me , but bent over backwards to ensure I had a safe place to stay and provided me with outstanding medical care until I could transfer to Hazelton Betty Ford. Coastal Staff treats all patient with respect and love. The Chefs, Techs, Nurses, Cleaning Staff, Therapist, Receptionist, etc., are all wonderful people. Judy and Ross are outstanding owners as well. If anyone needs help/detox from alcohol and drugs, I highly recommend Coastal Detox+0

JACKLYN WOLFE16 July 2024Coastal Detox is one of the two most amazing places I have been to for early recovery/ detox. Sadly, I’ve been to many detoxes.. but this one trumps all. My boyfriend did some research and found Coastal for me, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Not just for my boyfriend, but for every one of the staff members here… including BHT’s, administrators, nurses, therapists, the owners, my case manager, the doctors, group facilitators, the chiropractor, the massage therapist… all the way down to the chefs! Every one of them treats with care, kindness and understanding. The family owned facility made sure I was comfortable at all times, felt safe and treated me with the utmost respect. Tentative to my every need and made sure I was comfortable with my after care plan. I loved it here and am very thankful to have gotten to know them all. I plan to send updates about my sobriety as asked.. perfectly glad to, actually. I give them 10 out of 5 stars. ⭐️ Simply amazing ❤️ Beautiful place and people. ☺️

The staff here is incredibly attentive, promptly addressing any requests or concerns I had. From day one, I felt completely comfortable confiding in them, as they were genuinely compassionate and understanding. Their PHP outpatient program is outstanding. It doesn't feel institutionalized at all; instead, it provides a supportive, encouraging environment that fosters genuine progress. The atmosphere is such that everyone here wants to be; there's no sense of being forced into treatment. The facilities are top-notch, with clean and sanitized rooms that made my stay comfortable. The food was consistently amazing, which added to the overall positive experience. What truly sets this center apart is the personable and easygoing nature of the staff. They are always approachable, making it easy to talk about anything. I highly recommend Coastal Detox to anyone seeking effective and compassionate care.

Melissa Marrs5 July 2024I had a very positive experience w Coastal all the way around. I am a picky eater but the food was good! They are very clean and organized. They strike a great balance of encouraging you to participate while supporting the detox process and allowing you to rest. Jodi is very knowledgeable about the food stamp process and helped me a lot. The outside patio w pond is so zen and full of life and vibrance. The prescriber was willing to work with me and accommodate my concerns. I love that this is a family owned place. They clearly take pride and are invested in clients having a good experience. I am now at a PHP far less organized. I wish I was back there instead. I highly recommend you give this program a try.

Heather Sheehan22 June 2024Everyone at coastal detox is amazing and I would definitely recommend going there if you are struggling with addiction. They make you feel as comfortable as you can while detoxing. They have a massage therapist and chiropractor who come twice a week, massage chairs, yoga, and a koi pond filled with fish. I would not of made it through this process if it weren't for my therapists, nurses, bht's, and other staff.

Caroline Prescott19 June 2024I was kicking and screaming not to go but as uncomfortable as it was to not have most 1st world privileges - like technology or more outside contact than 1 call per day but they likely, and hopefully forever, Saved my life. Although I don’t pine to go back. Lol The therapist Katelynn is the best therapist I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot. She cared, made me feel seen, and was dedicated to helping me get through that hard time. She gave me the 1st glance at hope I had seen in years. I write this with hope and strength bc I am not public about sharing this journey yet bc of inevitable judgement but Katelynn needed a shout out and they deserve the credit for helping me stick it out and stabilize me to be prepared for my next steps. They helped me finally be proud of myself for doing the 1st right thing.

I loved the techs so much, especially ray, jessica, michelle, karen and all of the night techs, they made me feel safe and heard!! the doctor and nursing staff were more than happy to help with any medical issues and concerns! rose was always an angel to me, ensuring i was eating whole meals while on medication and being there for me when i got sick she did all she could to avoid a hospital visit at my worst. jessica was the first person i met upon arrival, she was so sweet and nice, she took all my anxiety away. she took care of everything, she showed me around, she introduced me to my roommate and the community. she even goes out of her way to help, once getting me protein shakes on her break. jessica is one of a kind and i send her all the love and best wishes!!! ray truly changed my life, i owe my sobriety to him. the entire staff deserves so much more love and respect for their exceptional connections and dedication to the clients! my best way at the moment to express myself was by coloring pictures and handing them out to staff!! coloring was my coping mechanism and it brought color into the lives of others! i can go on and on about the incredible, inspiring people i’ve met and how life changing they’ve all been during the very difficult transition to sobriety and how much i appreciate and love them all!! the groups, especially music therapy, art therapy and all the creative activities they provide, makes one more expressive and open making it known that they are not alone and makes some of us never want to leave!! Coastal is honestly the most family-style community i’ve ever lived in, the connections are so pure and strong! i value every single day of my 3 week stay! the chefs were always more than willing to accommodate the picky eaters and those with no appetite! i went from looking sickly and pale to glowing and growing! i went from barely drinking a smoothie to eating full meals 3x daily. i gained my appetite back and i owe it all to the chefs chris and janine!! and don’t get me started on the amenities available when not in group: board games, coloring, massage chairs, sauna, koi pond, ping pong, mini gym, community tv, personal tv, books, 24hr snacks available, even a yoga instructor, chiropractor, massage therapist come each week to relieve stress, tension and quiet the mind! i would recommend coastal to everyone i know, 1000/10 stars ⭐️ also i want to congratulate judy, who was expecting during my stay, on her new baby! i want to come back just to live in that peaceful paradise lol but i am always willing to return as a speaker and inspire others just as much as the speakers inspired me! thank you coastal, thank you staff and thank you for providing all those in need a safe space to detox!!

Daniel Kelly4 April 2024I would definitely recommend Coastal Detox to any family member or friend who needed a facility to come off of a substance. I personally was there to detox off of alcohol. From the time I arrived until it was discharge day I was kept comfortable and cared for by all staff members. The rooms and common areas are clean and attended to daily. The Chefs do an amazing job with all meals and there are plenty of snacks around between meals for when your appetite returns. A medical Dr. In addition to the Nursing staff are always available to help with questions or medical concerns.

Caine Puckett7 February 2024This place changed my life. Very few detoxes take people on high doses of methadone and this place took me in with open arms. All the staff cares about all their clients. Amanda, the the head doctor, is EXCELLENT at her job. Russ and Judy run an amazing business and really know what they’re doing. I’ve recommended this place to several people going through similar situations. Do yourself a favor and send your loved ones here if they need it. Send yourself there if you need it. What detox has yoga, a masseuse and a chiropractor and amazing food? 5 stars all the way!!!

I just came off a two-week stay and would encourage everyone considering treatment to take full advantage of all of the physical, mental, spiritual and holistic support they provide through counseling, groups and your free choices. This has been a long struggle for me. I have been to Coastal a few times and this time I embraced and committed myself to their program and truly feel it has shifted my life-path dramatically. Whether you are a first-time client or have returned multiple times, the Coastal family welcomes you and they are genuinely happy that you made it back. From pre-admission to administrators, office coordinators, nursing, culinary masters, amazing BHT's, group and individual counselors, attentive room attendants/cleaners, and wholistic contracted therapists, love and support is coming at you from every direction. They are dedicated to getting to know each client and staying in touch with each person’s progress all the way, and from every level of staff. They value their clients as human beings and treat them with respect and kindness. I feel extremely connected to this facility and the all-encompassing care I have received here over the past several years during my battle with alcohol. To someone reading this review, I encourage you to go to Coastal and open up to receiving the sincere care, positive energy and individualized treatment they so earnestly give. Steven Bird3 November 2023I was out of my mind and on a downward spiral and didn't realize that until about 3 days into my stay at Coastal Detox. Everything is beyond anything I would be ever expected in the best way possible. Food 10/10 ,Staff 10/10, Amenities 10/10 and most of the staff is actually in recovery with many years clean and sober so they understand what is really going on. If you come here, you will not suffer and you will begin to feel like a human again and that is why I am writing this review. We all deserve to experience this type of environment during such times ... .. I've been up and down the east coast and I swear this is the best place I've ever been to - for so many reasons. I didn't want to leave when it was time to go and that says a lot about this wonderful place. .. if you don't like this place you are just looking for reasons to complain because it's hard to be or stay miserable when there is so much to be happy about ..after the first week you will see what I mean. Give yourself a shot at a new life ..make the call today. I'm so grateful and satisfied with my results. I am now back in Maryland and doing well. Gregory Reno28 October 2023There are not enough good things to day about Coastal! I have been to countless detox/treatment centers. The vast majority of them, treat you just as a number. From the beginning to the end, they are there for your every need throughout the difficult process of shedding your old self. The place is beautiful with 5 star food (the snacks and ice cream is a nice touch too) You actually get individualized treatment. Meet with a therapist every day to check on you and your progress. Coastal truly wants to help people and see them get better, from the owners to the chef. My story involves some relapses. Every time i was welcomed back with open arms. Coastal is family owned and that's how they treat you. Trust me when I say that matters! Not to mention its like staying at a spa. Have your own personal TV and headphones is nice especially if you have a noisey roommate. Massages sauna etc. I've personally sent 1 family member and a few friends, who all had similar things to say about Coastal. From admin, to the techs, and chef are all professionals. If you are looking for a place for yourself or a loved one I strongly recommend coastal. I don't write reviews too often and when I do it's not very long. Thank you Coastal for being instrumental in saving my life! Forever in debt!

Marcella Raines26 October 2023My daughter was admitted the other day. She was so scared . Never been to any rehab before. They made her feel comfortable and made her feel like they truly care. I have been talking to Chris at intake on the phone to get her in there and it was a struggle with my daughter. But she finally decided to admit herself. Chris was wonderful and gave me some great hints to help!!! He guided me the whole way. The therapist has been in constant contact with me. My daughter called me yesterday and said she loves the place!

Timothy Hoglund10 September 2023Great place one of the very few mom and pop treatments in south Florida. Clean great therapy foods amazing. Love the soup du jour! An amazing place to go that allows you to get right the right way. Nurses and bhts on staff 24/7 a place to feel safe while taking care of your health and nourishment. I Would recommend this place if you need help with your addiction or alcoholism.

Julie Giebeig5 September 2023This is by far the best detox I had ever been too. ( I came here back in 2017) It felt more like a hotel resort than an institution. I came in for meth addiction which I didn't feel that I needed the detox but it was a requirement to go to the rehab. It was by far the best detox and I wish I could've stayed there for the actual rehab stint! From what I remember the beds were comfortable, the showers clean and big. They even had a chef and chiropractor come throughout the week. I gained 20 lbs in a week lol I know there were a loyal of heroin addicts there and they were keeping them as comfortable as they can be in that situation. From my experience it was a 10 star experience and I can't think of one bad thing to say about it

Justin Mccauley8 August 2023Coastal has truly become a family to me!! This staff TRULY CARES ❤️❤️❤️. Not only did they give me the tools I need for recovery, they are really good at listening to what issues I really had going on at time. It was smiles and hugs when I left and those smiles and hugs continue 🙏🤙. Hopefully I can go back one day as a sober man and share my experience. Love you guys ✌️
